Earn With Squidoo

I came across one riveting site known as Squidoo. What you basically do is create a listing. On this listing, you can enter anything you like. You could for example list all the deep links of your website.

Glance at some of the riveting listings that I have set up: Truck Drivers, Businss Tips, Cichlids, Webmasters Blog, Effective Business Communcation, Articles, Foods of India, Casino, Home Food.

This is a great way to get backlinks to your website without paying any money. For instance, you I find it riveting that Squidoo allows you to earn money from your listings. It places ads and other affiliate links on your page. If it makes any earning from your listings, it shares a part of it with you. It is up to you whether you want to actually take the money home or donate it.
Did you enjoy my listings? Here are some more: Home Remedies for Common Cures, Walking as Exercise, Dog Training, Supplies Supplies, Environment, Gear Technology, Indian Travel, CAT 2007, Other Therapies.

My guidance to you would be to use Squidoo effectively. It is one thing to just set up a page and forget it forever. It is entirely another to create a useful page where you rank high and actually get visitors.

If you would like to look at some more listings of mine, I do have some more: Types of Grips, Stains, Business Efficiency, Major Business, World Newspapers, Code of Conduct, Branding, Training and Development.

I also believe that creating a Squidoo page solely for a link is too much hard work. Instead you should try to get more out of the site. So, get with it and make the most of the break. I would also recommend that you read what other people have to say about Squidoo. Wikipedia article on Squidoo.

The Directory Contest

Blogmaster's directory contest is ready to come to a close and the winners crowned. The contest will finish up on Feb. 6, and the web directory in the top spot at 10am will win $2000.

The second place finisher will win $400, andthe directory coming in third will win $200.To participate, directories need to add a regular or featured listing to the DirectoryContest blog as they would any other listing, so it can't be a site wide or homepage listing. Over-optimizing the directory will lead to disqualification, and the title of the listing should be “Directory Contest” or “” or “Directory Contest -” and nothing else. You are also not allowed to name the directory category any of those terms.

Directory owners had 3 months to try and rank for the targetted search term, and there are a few late comers to the contest that might make a move over the next few days. It'll be interesting to see who wins the directory contest!
